What a week!!!

Wow....what a week, where do I start?

Well, Diva Fabulous is trying to take off by itself and I'm having to hold it back. I can't believe it, everything is just coming together which tells me that starting this venture was the right thing to do.

So far, we are going to feature in the Glasgow Herald as part of the wedding show AND 2 pieces of jewellery are being used in a photoshoot for a brand new magazine. This is truly more than I could have hoped for and I can't believe how lucky I am.

My website is taking shape and looking great, so excited, will give you all the details very soon. (Thank you Dave)

So I've parcelled up the necklace and bracelet to be sent to the mag, and they'll be posted tomorrow, by my lovely hubby, Mr Diva. (See pics)

I've set my goal of leaving my day job in October, so will have to work hard to achieve that goal, but do you know what? I don't mind a bit.

Great news, Diva Fabulous is very proud to be stocking Liza Design tiaras and jewellery. I want Diva Fabulous to become 'the' boutique that everyone wants to wear for their wedding or special occasion, and this is a great boost to my goal.

Add to that, ŵe are taking part in the Scottish Wedding Show in the SECC on 23 & 24th February 2013 and I think this year is going to be a very busy year for DFab.

Our website should be completed in the next couple of weeks and that will be a huge relief as some of you know, my attempts at a website were pitiful, but it is being rescued as we speak (thank you Dave at DS Brochure & Webdesign).

New me

Getting there, it's hubby's 40th on 3rd Jan, so from the 4th I'm on the road to the new me. I've got Italy on 21st June so I have a lot of weight to lose. So.....I joined weight watchers last week online so decided I'm going to use this blog to keep a track of how I'm doing. Wish me luck xxx

Getting there

So....hope all my Diva's are well. I have been off work for a little while getting my head straight and it has made me realise that I want Diva Fabulous to be a success more than ever. I have a really good feeling for 2013 and I think it will be a defining year for me. While I've been off I've been seeing a councillor which I thought would be a lot of rubbish, but I've actually enjoyed the process. It's been hard and exhausting at times but I'm glad that I've done it. Got two more sessions to go and while its not a magic wand, it's definitely made me more aware of what I'm about and what I want. Which brings me to the site.

I am so excited at the prospect of people wearing my jewellery and tiaras for their weddings. To be such an integral part of any occasion is an honour and I'll treat it as such.

Where do I start?

Hello, bloggers.....

Welcome to the first Diva Fabulous blog.  I'm excited to have joined this world as I have read several blogs and thought I wish I could do that......then I realised I can so here I am.  Day 1, followers 0  woohoo.

So where do I start?  I have always wanted to start my own business and have made a couple of half arsed attempts over the last few years, but this is my baby so constructive feedback is appreciated.

I've been making my own jewellery now for about a year, starting to get a bit adventurous now and had so many compliments I thought I might as well up my game. I do enjoy making jewellery but I also enjoy buying things I couldn't possibly make, so I decided why not offer both. Have a bespoke service for people that want something specific like bridal tiaras and headpieces and also offer a wider range of things for everyday wear.  And so, the start of my plan had begun.
